Terms of use

CMFI Connect is the app of the CMFI community, published by Communauté Missionnaire Chrétienne Internationale. It lets you keep a daily spiritual report, read the hymns, pray with the community, follow its events and announcements, and stay in touch with the people who walk with you.

Most of the app is free. An optional subscription, CMFI Connect Premium, adds a few features and supports the work (see “Premium”).

• Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Your account is personal: keep your password secret. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
• One account per person.
• You must be at least 13 years old, or have a parent's consent.

• Respect the other members in everything you publish or send: invitations, importunity topics, mentoring requests.
• Not impersonate anyone.
• Only invite to pray, or ask as an authority, people who want it, without insisting after a refusal, and not use the app to solicit people or send unwanted messages.
• Only add a person entered by hand as an authority with their consent to store their contact details.
• Keep to yourself what others entrust to you: prayer topics, reports received, contact details.
• Not publish illegal or offensive content, or content contrary to the values of the community.
• Not try to bypass the app's security or overload it.

• Your report, your notes and your lists belong to you.
• Events, news, photos, prayer topics and announcements are published by the administrators on behalf of the community.
• The prayer retreats, the texts of “Our ministry” and the list of nations come from the community. They are offered for your personal spiritual life and may not be resold.
• The texts of the hymns belong to their authors and publishers. They are offered for personal use and for worship.
• What you write (an importunity topic, a note) remains your responsibility.

• CMFI Connect Premium is an optional subscription. It adds the home-screen widget, the year in the Summary and how your goals progress. The report, the daily goals, the hymns, prayer and events remain free.
• The offers (for example monthly, six-monthly or yearly) and their prices are shown in the app by the App Store or Google Play, in your currency, before you buy. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account when you confirm.
• If an offer includes a free trial, its length is shown before you buy. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial, the subscription starts and is charged.
• The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal is charged within the 24 hours before that end.
• You manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid. Deleting the app or your CMFI Connect account does not cancel the subscription.
• Refunds depend on Apple's or Google's rules: ask them.
• Premium follows your CMFI Connect account: on another phone, sign in, then tap “Restore purchases” on the Premium screen.
• The app's team (the administrators) may receive Premium without paying.

The admin and superadmin roles are entrusted by the leaders of the community. Administrators manage the events, prayer topics, announcements and the team. They may only use members' data to organize the life of the community.

We do our best for the app to work well and without interruption, but we cannot guarantee it. Its features may change. What you save offline is sent when the connection comes back, as long as the app is not removed from the phone in the meantime.

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that does not respect these terms, after warning you when possible.

The app is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, Communauté Missionnaire Chrétienne Internationale is not liable for indirect damage related to its use, nor for content published by members.

If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple's standard licence agreement for apps (EULA) also applies, in addition to these terms.
